3rd Annual High School Battle of the Bands, Sunday May 22, 2011

Thank you for your interest in the 3rd Annual High School Battle of the Bands!
Please read the following information

* At least one high school member of your band MUST live in San Carlos.

* The majority of your band must be in high school (if there are 5 members, 3 must be in high school, etc.)

* Each band will play a maximum of 15 minutes for your performance on Sunday, May 22nd. Order of performances will be randomly selected in a drawing prior to the competition.

* Each band will perform for a group of judges who will judge the band using the following criteria: Musical talent, Stage presence, Overall performance and… Crowd response (so bring your friends and family). You will be provided with the judging criteria ahead of time.

* No obscene gestures, vulgar language or profanity will be used – if it is, your band will be disqualified from the competition. Please remember that this is a family event!

* You must submit your music either online OR send us a CD

* Five bands will be selected to play at the High School Battle of the Bands

* Entry deadline is Saturday, April 15, 2011 @ 5pm. NO EXCEPTIONS!
