3rd Annual High School Battle of the Bands, Sunday May 22, 2011 |
Thank you for your interest in the 3rd Annual High School Battle of the Bands! * At least one high school member of your band MUST live in San Carlos. * The majority of your band must be in high school (if there are 5 members, 3 must be in high school, etc.) * Each band will play a maximum of 15 minutes for your performance on Sunday, May 22nd. Order of performances will be randomly selected in a drawing prior to the competition. * Each band will perform for a group of judges who will judge the band using the following criteria: Musical talent, Stage presence, Overall performance and… Crowd response (so bring your friends and family). You will be provided with the judging criteria ahead of time. * No obscene gestures, vulgar language or profanity will be used – if it is, your band will be disqualified from the competition.
